The Holy Grail for Design Collectors: A Complete Olivetti Valentine Set Designed by legendary Italian architect Ettore Sottsass and Perry King in 1969, the Valentine is celebrated globally as a masterpiece of Pop Art industrial design and sits in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). What makes this specific piece extraordinarily rare is that it remains a 100% complete archival set. While the typewriter itself is an icon, most other units have lost their ephemeral components over the past 50 years. The piece does work to the best of our knowledge but remains 100% original and unaltered. If you plan on using this piece regularly, we recommend it be serviced.
