Source notes
Designed in 1981, the Minibox table lamp is a masterpiece of essential and ironic design, created by two undisputed masters of Italian design: Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni. An object of rare design intelligence, Minibox blends technical rigor with expressive lightness, playfully reinterpreting the concept of the work light. A cultured and versatile icon, it conveys a new domestic vision, perfectly balanced between function and storytelling. The shade rotates freely and is held to the body by a large recessed magnet which allows the user to position the light in all directions. Rarely seen US/Canada edition that works for our voltage with no converter needed. Uses a low wattage halogen bulb as opposed to the modern editions that use a cold LED. In good vintage condition with some slight marks. Maintains its original stickers. Made in Italy, 1980’s. 4” x 8" x 7,5"H US/CAD shipping available at checkout. * Please note, any product is considered FINAL SALE at the moment of purchase.
